These macros call the same routine that is it used when check_opt is set. Feel free to call it in case you have disabled this check.

Throws:

EMLINK null pointer found in ring link.

Parameters:

p_ring - (IN) A holding pointer to a node's ring
field - (IN) Field member name of ring structure

Returns:

0 is failled
